Our Experience program is for those who want to have a full volunteering experience. We offer volunteer opportunities in 21 countries across the Americas, Asia and Africa. This program is suitable for independent volunteers who are travelling on a budget.

Trip Style Our Experience program is all about fully immersing yourself in local culture. You will live and work in the local village and become a part of daily village life. You will eat what the locals eat and sleep in similar conditions to the locals. At the end of your holiday, you will have had a real taste of local life and have made a real difference to those in need. Trip Duration Experience programs are very flexible with regular departure dates throughout the year. Program duration ranges from 2 weeks to 12 months. Please bear in mind if you are planning on working in a school you will need to consider their school holidays.
	Volunteers Depending on where you are placed, you may be volunteering independently or as part of a group. We can advise you on this when we book your placement. As part of the program you receive 24/7 in-country support and supervision. Volunteering Activities We offer 63 volunteer projects in over 21 countries across the Americas, Asia and Africa. There is a wide range of volunteering activities on offer including education and counselling in schools, child-care, working with disabled children, working in orphanages, building and construction, conservation and animal care. In most cases no special skills are needed, just a flexible approach and the heart to help!
Program Costs To apply for an Experience program there is a $97 application fee. This fee secures your place on a program at a placement date suitable for you. Your application fee also provides you with access to any of our volunteer programs over the next 5 years. There is also a program fee, this fee is dependent on where you are placed. We will provide you with a package cost including fees and flights upon application. Holiday Extensions Volunteer Holiday itineraries are very flexible.
